Understanding the principles and importance of the Project Management Body Of Knowledge (PMBOK) and the governing body Project Management Industry (PMI) which this course has been built on

Every project needs a document as a guide to follow and adjust and to submit for approval. These include the statement of work, project planning worksheet, and project charter. In this session, practice how to interpret, create and adhere to these documents.

In this session, you will learn how to build out a schedule. A project schedule is a timetable that organises project tasks, activity durations, calendar start and end dates, and sets overall project milestones on a timeline.

Breaking work into smaller tasks is a common productivity technique used to make the work more manageable and approachable. For projects, the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is the tool that utilises this technique and is one of the most crucial project management documents.
